At KSA, the nature of our work dictates that we collect and process a substantial amount of "personal data" as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998. This may be data about the client themselves, but also on persons associated with that client. Also, in our corporate records, we process data on suppliers and staff. The security of all this data is very important to us and all personal data are processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Part of our compliance is the registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) of the purposes for which we, as a firm, process data - the "Notification". This is available for viewing on the Public Register of Data Controllers at www.ico.gov.uk .
We may share personal data of the individual concerned and/or that of third parties associated with the individual (for example, a co-director; a spouse) with other third parties as part of our contracted services and/or if we are required to do so by UK law. We cannot accept liability for any processing by third parties outside our contracted services.
None of the above affects your rights of access under the legislation. If you wish to request a copy of the personal data that may held on you, please submit a written request. Email requests are acceptable. Please note that we may charge a £10.00 administration fee for this service, which is payable in advance and non-refundable.
